Die Easy

We all die a little everyday
based on Mal-assumptions
and Mal-conclusions
to make up our minds
and decide what treatment's
deemed necessary
mind wanders blatant
like a poem you wrote
in watercolor memories
out in the rain

impatient outpatients drool
their mundane preachings
over and over till only
they believe
in spittle they splatter
on sidewalks
around the church
where the bell tolls
silently
but not secretly
twelve hours before
it ends
for you
