Just Like You :

Am I that little chide lost in tears and fears
that knew from the womb he was unwanted
just like you?
The hurt child that ached for a loving hand
the warmth of glad relief's to feel, touch
,,,,just like you
I am that man your Mother wanted
the fathers love you never had, but needed
,sent to you
From the prayers you thought unanswered
even now you do not realize or see
,,,it's just,, like you
To have the love you vision less, and abandoned
and you never knew until the end
it's just like you

You will discover,,,it is you,,that lost it all
I have found, I belong to the world
thanks to you
I am the hard and the sensitive kind
a loving, caring but most of all responsible man
just like Mom wanted, but never had
The baby black and blue
screaming for the air that is you
The lost, hungry child that screams
remembering, wanting but only in dreams
This mature man, broken in two
eyes stained with too many tears
changing hue, just like you
A heart of glass broken, shattered
now do you understand
I,,,was just,,,for you

The child inside beaten black and blue
,,,,just like you
You must pay the price for your lack of vision
it is your fate with him
,,,,,,,,Oblivion
God sent me here to mend
both your soul and mine
I have known the same pain
all my life
Just Like You

Now I am alone in a crowded room
trying to find a lost dream
Lonely, afraid, confused
feeling my brave heart wounded
still in love, and wanting
feeling the bruises returning
a lonely, broken virgin
heading for the coast
to make the most
of what she lost
it is you
This love of, flowing, haunting Mind
like the rivers so unafraid
running endlessly
towards the sea
,,,black and blue
always remembering, lovingly
to the depths of love
Just For You

As we would the Roses

Spark of life,
does it seem
as beautiful to you
as it does to me,
to court you,
as delicately,
as one would a flower.
Patiently,
hour after hour,
Tenderly,
as we would
wait for,,,
The Roses...

Addict of Life

To see yourself as a ship
sinking in some mid Atlantis
hearing my lungs wheeze like the
twisting whining out of tune steel
ribs breaking under stress
A picture of a watered down hell
pouring in the outer skin cracking
the cold water dancing bubbles
around a red hot boiler electric
One last scream of cold-ed steel agony
and the metal of body slips silent out of sight
A junk pile your soul only escaping a death
raft in spirit
floating on memories that once
held you up but now washes
you out changed faded
chained to fate like an anchor seeks
bottom.
There's no island to swim to
no thing to cling on to
the same stars sailors see
but now I can touch them
uneasily painless

Half Dream before December

Sleeptember's promise a broken dream
like love - like hate
pushing through the soil of my soul,
plucking at me like my heart is made of catgut.
An eerie sound that half
echoes - stretches and vibrates in
an empty sea shell like heart.
A stranger, a women, she
looks to me - through me-
whistling a vague but familiar
tune I can never, but almost,
grasp. She knows me, I scare
her but she still knows, not at all,
she tells.
Only her silence scares me.
But her half dream no promise's
is all that keeps me
from non being.
A jig saw puzzle missin' a piece,
a cross words that all
read very
down.
Sleeptember's promise a broken dream
like love - like hate
pushing through the soil of my soul,

Disorientation

Go 186,000 miles per second,
for 1 second,
turn left at God,
straight down past the pearly
Gates,
go past the jasper avenues
leading to the sun.
Left and then right
again,
the road splits
but go down the middle
and you're there,
I think.
Unless you took a wrong
turn?
If you did
your doomed
in damnation
forever
so don't look back!

And don't ask me,

I just sell the ice water....

Die Easy

We all die a little everyday
based on Mal-assumptions
and Mal-conclusions
to make up our minds
and decide what treatment's
deemed necessary
mind wanders blatant
like a poem you wrote
in watercolor memories
out in the rain

impatient outpatients drool
their mundane preachings
over and over till only
they believe
in spittle they splatter
on sidewalks
around the church
where the bell tolls
silently
but not secretly
twelve hours before
it ends
for you

Don't squeeze the Libra please

You bruise my tenderness
with ignorance
a naive Grace

do you wish
me to be
as most other men
Can you not see those
chose
to be closed

I have dreamt
my heart
open to you
and your eyes of crazy blue

in your eyes
are there no rooms for a poem
and the gentleman

don't make me detached as them
from defending defenselessness
be aware of my tenderness
honor me with Grace

or leave with dignity
but eternity
love the same
or never say my name
